The National Council for Population and Development (NCPD) is this week participating in a Regional Workshop on Harmonization of PHE Indicators at the Hilton Hotel from 17th to 19th July 2018. It is represented by Wambui Kungu the Assistant Director, M&E. The workshop is organised by the Lake Victoria Basin Commission (LVBC) and K4Health, a project of Johns Hopkins University Center for Communication program and funded by USAID.

Among the discussions that will be going on are;

  • Reviewing PHE M&E frameworks
  • Minimum PHE Package
  • DHIS2 Indicators for Population and Health
  • Indicators for Environmental Conservation
  • Kobo Toolbox PHE Indicators
  • Monitoring and Evaluating Integration and the Effects of Integration
  • Defining Indicators of Integration

The expected outputs of the workshop are:

  1. A list of reviewed M&E and Plans and LVBCs needs
  2. A revised comprehensive list of PHE indicators per component
  3. A list of PHE indicators of integration
