The National Council for Population and Development NCPD engages the NCCK Religious leaders and congregation from Central Region on county population and health facts and figures. The Council called upon the leaders to work more closely with the county governments to involve men in reproductive health for the wellbeing of men, women and children. A senior member the council challenged men in meeting to play a more active role in promoting family including use of condom, to space babies for the health and wellbeing of families. The leaders also expressed concerns on the growing number of various types of cancer in central region. The leaders agreed on the urgency to undertake research on the underlying causes of cancer and other non-communicable diseases to inform current and future interventions.
