The National Council for Population and Development (NCPD) has signed an agreement with Jhpiego to carry out advocacy activities in the self-selected Counties of Migori, Kilifi, Kericho, Uasin Gishu, Nairobi and Mombasa by providing technical backstopping to County governments. Through the agreement, NCPD will ensure that there is a functional county mechanism for mobilizing resources for family planning from government, donor and private sector sources. The Council will also ensure creation of County FP Champions from self-selected counties who will advocate for dedicated FP Budget lines.
