Training session in progress

The National Council for Population and Development (NCPD) and Ministry of Health (MoH), with support from JICA, are conducting the pre-test for the 2017 Kenya Health Facility Assessment (KHFA). This pre-test commenced on 8th March 2017 in Nakuru County. The 2017 KHFA aims to collect information from all health facilities in Kenya on the state of their preparedness to provide quality health services to the public. This assessment combines three assessments which in the past were conducted independently. These assessments are Kenya Service Provision Assessment (KSPA), Service Availability and Readiness Assessment Mapping (SARAM), and Service Delivery Point Assessment (SDP). The KHFA pre-test will end on 23rd March 2017 after which the actual field data collection will take place.
